Cam -- while that is J's backpack, (and his Uncle Brian's Nalgene bottle)I believe the tattered pieces of fabric it rests upon are some very weathered Prayer Flags. They represent a Himalayan tradition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayer_flag -- that is not to say that his tent was not donated to the cause.
